Education & advocacy
An important activity of ours is the advocacy and public education. We organize lectures, seminars and conferences for laic and expert audience. From 2014 we regularly organize the program of Stanislav Grof in the Czech Republic and in Poland.
We are the organizers of the first Czech transpersonal conference (2016) and The International Transpersonal Conference (2017), which were created as the result of the Holos platform of Transpersonal forum.
We are also a publisher and movie producer. We publish mainly the books of Stanislav Grof, but also of other significant authors. We shot documentary movies Holotropic breathwork in wate and From Darkness of the Soul... Light.

For public education and awareness about the topic of spiritual emergency, we have made a documentary movie in collaboration with Viliam Poltikovič called From Darkness of the Soul... Light. It is possible to buy the international version of the movie online via Vimeo.

Holotropic breathwork in water
MUDr. Milan Hrabánek is certified holotropic breathwork facilitator, direct student of Stanislav Grof with many years of practices. He continues to develop this technique and he is perhaps the first in the world to come with holotropic breathwork in water, which he successfully practices for many consecutive years. As the experience of MUDr. Hrabánek has showed, the water environment enables even deeper holotropic process, including the material of perinatal matrices and transpersonal experience. In 2013 the Holos association shot a documentary movie about this technique.
The documentary movie brings to laic and expert audiences the authentic footage of a holotropic breathwork seminar in water, which happened in Metylovice in April 2013 during the International day of holotropic breathwork. The documentary movie was made by the Holos association in collaboration with a student of graphics Aleš Orlík.
This document is the first of its kind in the world in representing this unique therapeutic method, which has great potential not only in self-exploration, but also for treatment of mental issues, especially then for spiritual emergency. The purpose of the movie is to show the meaning of this technique and its positive effects on mental health. Meanwhile, it is also aims at starting a social discourse about the approach of Czech psychiatry towards transpersonal psychology, holotropic breathwork as healing techniques and spiritual emergency.

Written at the beautiful peak of his career, it most likely the greatest contribution of Stanislav Grof. The width and depth of his knowledge is astonishing, the tone of his writing is easy and accessible and his stories are enriched by entertainng anecdotes, interesting personal experiences and brilliant proceeding studies.
